Job summary

GRAID Technology Inc. seeks an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of our next-generation storage software platform. You will define system architecture and drive technology decisions across OS, drivers, firmware, storage stacks, and hardware-software integration.

You will shape scalable, high-performance software solutions and mentor engineers while collaborating with product management and leadership to translate business needs into technical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in system software development with architectural responsibilities.
• Expert-level knowledge of C and/or C++.
• Strong understanding of OS architecture, memory management, concurrency, and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the architecture of system software solutions across the product portfolio.
• Drive technical strategy and long-term architectural roadmaps.
• Design scalable, high-performance, and resilient storage software systems.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, validation, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end system design consistency.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and architectural approaches.
• Define software frameworks, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Guide performance, scalability, security, and reliability initiatives.
• Mentor senior engineers and contribute to talent growth.
• Partner with product management and customers to translate requirements into solutions.
