Qualifications

• Notable applied experience using systems engineering to accelerate delivery and improve software lifecycle.
• Leadership in cross-functional contributions to open source projects and driving maturity of teams.
• Ability to mentor teams, translate tacit knowledge into institutional artifacts, and drive governance.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative processes across libraries teams to design, implement, validate, and deliver key software library capabilities and align roadmaps with stakeholders.
• Lead engineering scoping of new architectures and create documentation to provide technical governance across teams.
• Review technical designs and approaches, ensure performance and roadmap commitments, and explore new technologies to improve software team efficiency.
• Identify at-risk plans using organizational sensing and develop strategies to uplift teams and capture tacit knowledge as self-service assets.
• Partner with program and product stakeholders to adopt engineering best practices and participate in hiring key engineering talent.
