Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software products. You will influence architectural decisions and ensure code quality across the full software lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in C++ development, strong Linux knowledge, and experience with multithreading, debugging, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional C++ software development.
• Strong proficiency in C++11/14/17/20 and OO design.
• Experience with multi-threading and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and network programming.
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Google Test and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex software modules using C++.
• Architect and optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure coding standards and architecture.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and other engineering teams to define requirements.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to CI/CD and automation efforts.
