Job summary

AIDA projektai, MB is seeking a Senior Systems Software Engineer to design and build core infrastructure powering high-performance distributed systems. You will work on fault-tolerant components, optimize performance, and contribute to low-level software architecture for AI workloads.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, own systems end-to-end, and drive performance improvements across virtualization, storage, and HPC domains. Strong leadership and learning mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems software or infrastructure platforms.
• Strong in at least one area: Virtualization, Storage systems, API/SDK generation, HPC, or Kernel development.
• Strong distributed systems knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in C, C++, or Go; scripting in Python or Bash.
• Solid Linux/Unix command-line expertise and profiling tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize core infrastructure components for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Own systems lifecycle from architecture to deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Build reliable distributed systems and improve resilience and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure services.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term strategy.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues in distributed systems and low-level infra.
• Analyze performance using profiling/monitoring tools and implement improvements.
• Lead initiatives and support team success with distributed technical leadership.
• Foster collaborative culture with knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Support data-driven decisions through benchmarking and testing.
