Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Engineer for AI Object Storage to design and implement scalable, distributed storage solutions. You will work on exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and integrate dedicated clusters into diverse customer environments.

You will collaborate across hardware-adjacent stacks, leveraging RDMA, GDS, and NFS/S3 protocols to optimise throughput and tail latency, while mentoring engineers and elevating reliability and security across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience in storage systems or infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems in high-scale environments.
• Proficiency with storage protocols (S3, NFS) and distributed architectures (Ceph/DAOS).
• Experience with Go, C, or Rust, and cloud-native infra (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with telemetry pipelines (Prometheus, Grafana, ClickHouse).
• Ability to mentor and lead cross-functional teams.
