Job summary

Vonage's Foundation Engineering team is looking for a Staff Engineer to anchor the architecture of our cloud-native platform. You will provide technical leadership for highly concurrent backends and mentor engineers across the group.

In this role, you will own significant architectural decisions, define coding standards, and collaborate with product leadership to align technical strategy with business goals. A strong Go or Java background is essential, with on-call responsibilities included.

Responsibilities

• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product and leadership to align strategy.
• Provide on-call support as part of rota.
