Vonage is seeking a Staff Engineer to anchor the RNE group, shaping architecture for our cloud-native platform and influencing engineering culture across the team.

You will provide technical leadership for highly concurrent, distributed backends, own major architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with product leadership to align technical strategy with business goals, including on-call support.

• Lead performance optimisation initiatives and mentor engineers across the team.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to align technical strategy with business goals; participate in on-call rotations.
