Job summary

ALTEN Polska, part of the ALTEN Group, invites a Java Developer to join the Kraków team. You will develop and maintain scalable Java applications, build automated test suites with Cucumber, and work on Apache Spark processing for large data sets.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain scalable Java applications to meet business and technical requirements.
• Design and implement automated test suites using Cucumber to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Build and optimize Apache Spark applications for processing and analyzing large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate REST API testing for end-to-end validation.

Requirements

• Strong experience with programming languages (Java)
• Experience with testing frameworks like Cucumber
• Practical experience with Apache Spark

Nice to have:

• Experience with REST API testing (Automated e2e tests)
• Experience in Python
• Experience / knowledge about AI, ML
• Experience of deploying services on Google Cloud Platform
• Practical knowledge of Maven, Git, Copilot
