ALTEN Polska is seeking an Azure-focused Platform Engineer to build and manage the Azure foundation platform enabling scalable deployments. You will implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, automate CI/CD pipelines across multiple stacks, and design secure, compliant cloud services.

• Experience in building a range of services in Azure.
• Expert understanding of DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and techniques.
• Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines across multiple technology stacks.
• Knowledge of security and compliance, including IAM and cloud auditing/monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the Azure foundation platform to enable application deployments.
• Engineer solutions on the Azure platform using Infrastructure-as-Code methods (e.g., Terraform).
• Execute the functional pattern lifecycle process (design, document, develop, and maintain code libraries).
• Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage common cloud services (e.g., IAM, networking, monitoring, OS, containers).
• Manage Azure connectivity and networking (Express Route, DNS, IP allocation, traffic routing, NSGs, Azure Firewall).
• Use centrally agreed base hardened OS images (Linux and Windows).
• Ensure compliance with centrally defined security standards and operational risk standards.

Role Description

• Build and manage the Azure foundation platform to enable application deployments.
• Engineer solutions on the Azure platform using Infrastructure-as-Code methods (e.g., Terraform).

• Manage Azure connectivity and networking (e.g., Express Route, DNS, IP allocation, traffic routing, NSGs, and Azure Firewall).

• Ensure compliance with centrally defined security standards.
• Ensure compliance with operational risk standards (e.g., network, firewall, OS, logging, monitoring, availability, resiliency).

Requirements

• Experience in building a range of services in Azure.
• Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and techniques.
• Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines across multiple technology stacks.
• Knowledge of security and compliance, including IAM and cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools.
• Strong customer and stakeholder focus, with the ability to build relationships with application teams, cross-functional IT, and global/local IT teams.
