ALTEN Polska, part of ALTEN Group, is seeking an experienced C++ Developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality applications and libraries in Linux environments. You will collaborate with system architects, testers, and integration engineers to deliver robust solutions.

We require 5+ years in C++, strong Linux and Git skills, and fluent English. The role offers stable long-term cooperation, career progression, and access to Medicover benefits and other programs.

WHAT YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE?

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ applications and libraries.


• Ensure software performance, reliability, and scalability.


• Work with Linux environments (build systems, debugging, shell scripting, etc.).


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.


• Collaborate with system architects, testers, and integration engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.


• Document code, designs, and processes in line with project standards.

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in C++ software development.


• Strong proficiency in C++


• Solid understanding of Linux OS, including development tools and environment configuration.


• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).


• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and object-oriented design principles.


• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in one or more of the following industries: automotive, energy, or telecommunication.


• Familiarity with embedded systems, networking protocols, or multithreading.


• Knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.


• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.


• Basel experience is a plus.
