ALTEN Polska is seeking an experienced Java/DevOps professional to lead the adoption of DevOps and Agile practices while delivering robust microservices solutions. You will collaborate with product owners, IT specialists, and architects across regions to drive service delivery and reliability.

The role emphasizes design of scalable platforms, strong problem solving, and clear communication within a multinational engineering and IT services environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the adoption of DevOps and Agile principles and culture,
• Collaborate closely with product owners, IT specialists from various disciplines, IT architects, and IT management,
• Analyze technical and non-technical requirements and provide service-oriented advice to stakeholders,
• Design robust technical solutions and processes and implement them using modern agile methods,
• Actively participate in the service management community, engaging in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Service Delivery,
• Apply SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles to continuously improve platform reliability, capacity, and performance, reducing toil and enhancing observability,
• Develop observability tools and techniques for monitoring, alerting, incident detection, response, capacity management, and release safety.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in developing and supporting distributed systems written in Java,
• Ability to design and develop microservices using Java 25 and Spring Boot,
• Experience as a Java software developer, with strong knowledge of current Java technologies/frameworks and DevOps tools,
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly present, communicate, and explain problems and technical issues across areas and disciplines,
• Proven ability to work across regions while maintaining a global perspective and a results-oriented, structured, and independent working approach,
• Experience with application lifecycle management tools: JIRA/Confluence, Ansible, Vulnerability Remediation, CI/CD automation,
• Technology stack: Java SE, Angular, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Apache Beam, Apache Flink, GCP, Redis, REST APIs, Ansible, Jenkins.
