Job summary

MTU in Poland seeks an experienced Software Asset Management professional to independently operate and optimize global software and IT license management. You will work across IT, Procurement and Legal, coordinating acquisitions at the international level.

You will analyze compliance, prepare consumption reports, manage licenses and contracts, and monitor usage. You will design training, drive process improvements, and lead SAM projects, representing MTU in internal and external negotiations.

Qualifications

• Degree in informatics, business law, business administration, or related field.
• Experience in software license management with knowledge of vendor license models.
• Experience with a SAM tool, preferably ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with IT legal requirements and IT terminology.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
• Project leadership experience and familiarity with ITIL.
• Excellent communication and fluency in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and optimize MTU's global software and IT license management.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Legal and other departments, including internationally.
• Analyze compliance requirements and prepare reports on software consumption and license usage to support strategic decisions.
• Record and manage software licenses and contracts; monitor license usage and requirements.
• Advise business units and design training on software licensing and SAM processes.
• Lead and implement SAM projects and contribute to strategic evaluation of new software solutions.
• Represent MTU in projects, working groups, and negotiations.
