Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced SQL Server Administrator to support complex Microsoft SQL Server environments, with a core focus on SailPoint Identity Governance databases and related workloads. You will own database administration, upgrades, migrations and performance tuning in a fully remote role based in Poland.

Responsibilities include designing, maintaining and troubleshooting high-availability replication topologies, ensuring data synchronization across on‑premises and cloud

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA.
• Experience with SQL Server 2012–2022/2025 on Windows.
• Expertise in architecting/rescuing replication topologies and handling network partitions.
• Familiarity with SailPoint IdentityIQ/IdentityNow database backend and connection pooling.
• Strong SQL, stored procedures, triggers, backup/recovery, security, and performance tuning.
• Experience with implementations, upgrades, migrations, conversions, and consolidations.
• Ability to manage priorities and own technical issues.
• Microsoft SQL certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices or willingness to work within ITIL.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize complex Microsoft SQL Server environments focusing on SailPoint Identity Governance databases.
• Own database administration, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Design, maintain and troubleshoot advanced SQL Server replication topologies.
• Ensure reliable data synchronization across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Resolve replication latency, blocking, deadlocks, and transaction log issues.
• Support SQL Server upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Implement and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions such as Always On, Log Shipping, and Database Mirroring.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, identity management, and application teams to resolve production issues and optimize performance.
