Software Mind is seeking a ServiceNow professional to join our ServiceNow team, building a new platform for a Dutch cloud services provider serving the public sector. We are replacing a decade-old instance with a clean, out-of-the-box setup on the latest release.

As part of a small senior team with direct client contact, you will own platform operations, RBAC, integrations, and CMDB data quality, with room to grow into ITOM, CMDB, and CSDM work across a long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Valid ServiceNow CSA and Data Foundations certification.
• 5+ years hands-on ServiceNow experience, including 2+ years owning a production instance.
• Hands-on RBAC configuration: role and group model, ACLs, user criteria, delegated administration.
• LDAP/AD synchronization and data imports: import sets, transform maps, CMDB data quality.
• Experience with REST and SOAP integrations, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
• Service Portal configuration and maintenance for end users.
• Fluent English for client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day platform operations: incidents, service requests, access and role administration, and configuration changes.
• Take technical ownership of access control: role/group model, ACL design and reviews.
• Own integration operations: monitor, troubleshoot and repair running integrations; specify design changes when needed.
• Maintain CMDB data quality and CI class model in daily operation.
• Act as technical authority for operational change; assess impact and preserve out-of-the-box integrity.
• Reverse-engineer legacy configurations and document them to decouple from individuals.
• Run platform lifecycle work: upgrades, patching, and environment promotions.
• Work with client stakeholders to translate operational issues into concrete decisions.
