Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Business Analyst to assess current reporting and design a future-state governance model for reporting across a broad stakeholder base. You will inventory existing reports, interview stakeholders, and translate needs into robust requirements and roadmaps.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with business, technology, and risk teams, and requires strong communication skills and the ability to operate across diverse priorities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of business analysis and requirements-management experience.
• Ability to interview stakeholders and run requirements workshops.
• Experience evaluating a reporting or analytics portfolio.
• Translate complex needs into clear requirements and documentation.
• Develop process maps, inventories, and roadmaps for reporting.
• Identify duplications, gaps, and simplifications in data/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create an inventory of reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Research history and original business need for reports.
• Assess reporting relevance, usability, and value.
• Identify gaps and reports that no longer serve purpose.
• Recommend retention, enhancement, consolidation, replacement, or decommissioning.
• Define stakeholder groups and personas for reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and workshops to capture needs.
• Translate needs into well-defined requirements.
• Maintain traceability from needs to reports and outcomes.
• Develop target-state reporting portfolio based on findings.
