AgileEngine is a powerhouse in software development for Fortune 500 brands and startups, now seeking a Business Analyst to define a future-state reporting strategy and governance model across a broad stakeholder community.

You will develop a comprehensive reporting inventory, conduct structured interviews, and translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements across business, technology, data, and risk domains.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in business analysis or requirements management.
• Ability to interview stakeholders and run requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing reporting portfolios.
• Translate complex needs into clear business and functional requirements.
• Create process maps, requirements docs, inventories and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of reports, dashboards, metrics, and artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business need and audience.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability and value.
• Identify gaps and reports no longer serving a purpose.
• Develop recommendations to retain, enhance, consolidate, or decommission reporting.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and workshops to understand objectives and outcomes.
• Translate needs into defined requirements and reconcile competing needs.
• Maintain traceability between business needs, requirements and outcomes.
• Develop a target-state reporting portfolio based on findings.
