AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Business Analyst to assess current reporting and define a future-state reporting strategy across a broad stakeholder community. The role focuses on inventorying reports, validating business needs, and delivering a consolidated view of reporting demand.

Responsibilities include interviewing stakeholders, developing requirements, and guiding the portfolio toward standardized, value-driven reporting. Flexible remote/office options are available.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of strong business analysis and requirements-management experience.
• Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing an existing reporting or analytics portfolio.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements and documentation.
• Experience developing process maps, requirements documents, reporting inventories, and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills to identify duplication, gaps, and opportunities for simplification.
• Ability to work across business, technology, data, and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to drive requirements through ambiguity.

Aufgaben

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of existing reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business needs and use cases.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and value.
• Identify reporting gaps and reports no longer serving a purpose.
• Recommend retention, enhancement, consolidation, replacement, or decommissioning of reports.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming or producing reporting.
• Conduct structured interviews and workshops to capture objectives and needs.
• Translate needs into well-defined business and functional requirements.
• Reconcile conflicting requirements and create a consolidated view of demand.
• Maintain traceability between needs, reports, metrics, and outcomes.
• Develop a target-state reporting portfolio based on requirements and findings.
• Define reports to address unmet needs and enhancements; decide on consolidation/retirement.
• Prioritize requirements by value, risk, stakeholder need, dependencies, and feasibility.
• Develop a roadmap for transitioning from current to future state.
• Establish ownership for reports, data sources, and requirements.
• Define standards for documentation, definitions, data lineage, and metadata.
