Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Reconciliation Senior Analyst to perform complex reconciliations across Nostro, Cash and Suspense accounts, resolve exceptions, and strengthen the control environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Reconciliation, Financial Operations, Treasury Operations, Cash Management, Payments or Banking Operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions and data analysis
• Experience with reconciliation platforms and reporting tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret large data sets
• Effective communication and ability to manage competing priorities
• High attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations across Nostro, Cash and Suspense accounts and resolve exceptions
• Investigate reconciliation breaks, identify root causes and coordinate with Operations, Technology, Finance, Product and Business teams
• Manage aged breaks, transitory balances and outstanding items
• Analyze transactional data to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization
• Prepare and maintain management reports, dashboards, KPIs and exception reporting for stakeholders
• Participate in process improvement, automation and transformation projects to strengthen controls
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities with timely reconciliations
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and data analytics to improve exception management and reporting
• Support UAT, process transitions and implementation of new systems
