Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Reconciliation Analyst to perform daily reconciliations across Nostro, Cash, and Suspense accounts and resolve exceptions. You will investigate breaks, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support month-end close activities.

The role emphasizes leveraging AI-enabled tools and data analytics to improve processes, control gaps, and risk management. Hybrid work up to 2 days at home per week with a competitive base salary and Benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Reconciliation, Financial Operations, Treasury Operations, Cash Management, Payments, or Banking Operations.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with reconciliation platforms and operational reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations across Nostro, Cash, and Suspense accounts, resolving exceptions.
• Investigate reconciliation breaks, identify causes, and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Manage aged breaks, transitory balances, and outstanding items.
• Analyze transactional data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with accurate reconciliations.
• Identify control gaps and operational risks, propose corrective actions.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools, data analytics, and automation to improve exception management and reporting.
• Use AI and digital technologies for data analysis and continuous process improvement.
• Support UAT, process transitions, and new system implementations.
