Job summary

Ciklum is seeking an Expert Python Engineer to join our team in Poland, full-time. You will act as the architectural authority for the AS Copilot RAG pipeline upgrade and lead strategy for tuning cross-encoder rerankers, grounding, and citation efforts.

You will design the Code-RAG architecture for IEC 61131-3 code and ensure Python source delivery to Azure DevOps, collaborating within a SAFe cadence and guiding senior engineers toward production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field at an architectural level.
• Deep, practical experience and architectural mastery over Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Hands-on, architectural-level experience with Azure ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary architectural authority for the AS Copilot RAG pipeline upgrade.
• Lead the overall strategy for tuning re-rankers, grounding, and citation efforts, providing high-level supervision to the engineering team.
• Design the overarching architecture for custom Code-RAG development, focusing on AST-aware semantic chunking for IEC 61131-3 code.
• Ensure all AI components are architected to be delivered securely as Python source code into the client's Azure DevOps environment.
• Oversee pipeline audits, define KPIs, and establish evaluation frameworks using tools like RAGAS.
