Job summary

Ciklum in Poland is seeking an Expert Python Engineer to join our cross-functional team. You will act as the architectural authority for the AS Copilot RAG pipeline upgrade, driving the strategy around re-rankers, grounding, and citations, and delivering production-grade Python code into the client's Azure DevOps environment.

You will design the Code-RAG architecture with AST-aware chunking, work with Azure OpenAI/ML, and collaborate across SAFe cadences.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Computer Science, ML, Data Science, or related field at architectural level
• Deep experience with LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
• Proficient in Python; design systems with PostgreSQL, pgvector, and hybrid search
• Hands-on Azure ecosystem expertise: Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Azure DevOps
• Familiar with LLM evaluation methods and tools like RAGAS / DeepEval
• Exposure to ASTs or grammar parsing for code-generation use cases
• Strong client-facing leadership and problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary architectural authority for the AS Copilot RAG pipeline upgrade
• Lead strategy for tuning cross-encoder rerankers, grounding, and citation efforts
• Design architecture for custom Code-RAG development with AST-aware chunking
• Ensure delivery of production-grade Python code into client Azure DevOps environment
• Oversee RAG pipeline audits, KPIs, and evaluation frameworks
• Define approach to tune cross-encoder rerankers on Azure ML and grounding/citation frameworks
• Architect tokenization and semantic chunking for IEC 61131-3 code
• Provide high-level technical direction to senior engineers
• Collaborate with client within SAFe cadence
