Job summary

Talanto is looking for a Python Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland. You will work in a cross-functional development group to engineer experiences of tomorrow and deliver secure Python code directly into client Azure DevOps environments.

You will implement hybrid retrieval features, grounding modules, and end-to-end tests while collaborating with senior engineers in a fast-paced agile setup. Remote options are available for this role.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in CS, ML, or related technical field.
• Proficient in Python with hands-on ML experience.
• Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and integrating with LLM APIs.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Implementation: Build and deploy hybrid retrieval mechanisms using BM25, pgvector, and related search strategies.
• Grounding & Integration: Implement robust grounding and citation modules with accurate attribution and regression testing.
• Testing & Regression: Develop end-to-end integration tests and CI/CD regression harnesses.
• Collaboration: Work with Senior Engineers and Architects in daily pair programming and sprint ceremonies.
• Optimization: Maintain sub-4.5s latency (P95) in enterprise environments.
