Qualifications

• At least 10 years in IT, including 4 years managing programs or large client accounts in software services.
• A practical engineering background in software development or systems design, with ability to assess technical proposals and challenge estimates.
• Experience leading embedded or cloud software programs.
• Experience owning program or account P&L, including revenue, costs, margins and forecasts.
• Proven track record of leading proposals and converting client needs into new projects or expanded engagements.
• Understanding of Time & Material, Fixed Price, capacity-based and Build-Operate-Transfer commercial models.
• Experience building relationships with senior client stakeholders and contributing to account growth.
• Confidence in presenting technical and commercial proposals to senior management and leading discussions about delivery, value and investment.
• English skills at C1 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead a program of several projects for key clients, taking responsibility for delivery performance and business outcomes.
• Align project priorities, dependencies and resources within a coordinated program plan.
• Own program revenue, margin and financial forecasts, working with Project Managers to address delivery and commercial risks.
• Run steering committees and quarterly business reviews, presenting progress, financial performance and opportunities for further cooperation.
• Build relationships with client engineering managers, directors and senior decision-makers, understanding their product roadmaps and business priorities.
• Turn client needs into opportunities for new projects, additional services and broader cooperation across teams or business units.
• Co-own account development plans with the Account Manager and Business Unit Director, setting growth priorities and following opportunities through to decisions.
• Contribute to growing the client portfolio by developing new relationships and shaping initial engagements together with the Account Manager and Business Unit Director.
• Lead the proposal process from initial request to client decision, coordinating requirements, the proposal team, estimates, pricing and client presentations.
• Prepare materials for strategic client meetings and contribute to business unit planning, strategy and budgets.
