Xebia is a global AI-first, digital transformation and engineering partner helping clients design and build scalable software and data-driven solutions across Europe. We lead large, complex IT programs for multinational clients with end-to-end delivery accountability.

We are seeking a Delivery Manager to define governance, oversee multi-stream delivery, manage dependencies and risks, and mentor Delivery Managers, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large IT or software programs (multi-year, multi-million EUR budgets).
• Experience managing distributed, multinational teams and external vendors.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills in complex stakeholder environments.
• High ownership and decisiveness with the ability to operate independently.
• Practical knowledge of program and delivery frameworks (PMP, SAFe – certifications are a plus).
• Solid understanding of SDLC and modern software engineering practices.
• Fluency in English; EU work region and work permit required.

Responsabilités

• Leading large, complex software programs for international clients, from initiation through delivery, with end-to-end accountability.
• Defining and owning program governance, including decision-making structures, escalation paths, and reporting frameworks.
• Overseeing multi-stream program delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved within timelines, scope, and budget.
• Managing dependencies and alignment across internal delivery teams and external partners.
• Proactively identifying program-level risks, defining mitigation strategies, and driving corrective actions.
• Establishing and executing structured change management processes with traceability between requirements, scope, budget, and contracts.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships with sponsors and key stakeholders.
• Mentoring and supporting Delivery Managers to ensure alignment with goals and standards.

You will be:

• leading large, complex software programs for international clients, from initiation through full delivery, with end-to-end accountability for outcomes,
• defining and owning program governance, including decision-making structures, escalation paths, and reporting frameworks,
• overseeing multi-stream program delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved within agreed timelines, scope, and budget,
• managing dependencies and alignment across internal delivery teams and selected external partners,
• proactively identifying program-level risks, defining mitigation strategies, and driving corrective actions where required,
• establishing and executing structured change management processes, ensuring full traceability between requirements, scope, budget, and contractual agreements,
• building strong, trust-based relationships with clients, sponsors, and key internal stakeholders,
• mentoring and supporting Delivery Managers, ensuring alignment with program goals, delivery standards, and ways of working,
• building and leading effective program teams, fostering transparency, accountability, and predictable delivery.

Your profile:

• proven experience leading large-scale IT or software programs (multi-year, multi-million EUR budgets) with full budget and delivery accountability,
• experience managing distributed, multinational teams and collaborating with external vendors or partners,
• strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills, particularly in complex stakeholder environments,
• a high level of ownership and decisiveness, with the ability to operate independently and make informed trade-off decisions,
• a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset with a focus on outcomes rather than process for its own sake,
• practical knowledge of program and delivery frameworks (e.g. PMP, SAFe – certifications are a plus, not a requirement),
• solid understanding of software delivery lifecycles (SDLC) and modern software engineering practices,
• fluency in spoken and written English. Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
