Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to lead design, development and validation of MLSL-based control solutions for Medium Voltage Drive systems in AC arc furnace contexts.

The role requires extensive MATLAB/Simulink expertise, familiarity with ABB control platforms and CodeSys, and strong collaboration across electrical and power electronics teams in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or Control Engineering.
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink skills for control algorithms.
• Experience with MV drives and ABB platforms is required.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain MLSL apps for MV drive control systems.
• Analyze requirements and translate into software specs.
• Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Configure and test control logic on ABB platforms.
• Collaborate with electrical, control and power electronics teams.
• Support integration, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
