Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team delivering a large-scale Java application for a leading loyalty program. You will analyze requirements and production issues to design robust solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders and product teams.

The role includes monthly business trips to Warsaw and the chance to contribute in a complex enterprise environment with a skilled, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Java backend experience in large-scale enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, OO design, and clean code.
• Experience with AWS or other major cloud providers.
• Experience with automated testing (unit/integration).
• Familiar with CI/CD and modern delivery practices.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a large-scale Java application in the cloud.
• Analyze requirements and production issues to design robust solutions.
• Own features end-to-end from analysis to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to audiences.
• Create and maintain automated tests for quality and CD.
• Document architecture and implementation decisions.
• Participate in code reviews and share best practices.
