Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team building a large-scale Java application for a major loyalty program. The role involves analyzing business requirements and production issues to design robust solutions while collaborating with stakeholders and product teams.

Travel to Warsaw once a month is required. You will own features end-to-end, participate in code reviews, and help drive engineering best practices in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Java backend experience in large-scale enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, OO design and clean code practices.
• Experience with AWS or other major cloud providers.
• Experience with automated testing (unit & integration).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Proficient in Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a large-scale Java application running in the cloud.
• Analyze requirements and production issues to design robust, maintainable solutions.
• Own features end-to-end from development to deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers.
• Translate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Document architectural decisions, design concepts, and implementation approaches.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
