Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team building a large-scale Java application for a major loyalty program. You will analyze requirements, resolve production issues, and design robust, maintainable solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders and product teams.

The role requires hands-on ownership from analysis through deployment, participation in code reviews, and creating automated tests.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Java backend experience in large-scale enterprise applications.
• Proficient in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, OO design, and clean code.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
• Understanding of architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Experience with automated testing (unit & integration) and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders; fluent Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a large-scale Java application running in the cloud.
• Analyze business requirements and production issues to design robust solutions.
• Own features end-to-end from analysis through deployment and production support.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and other engineers.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create and maintain automated tests to support continuous delivery.
• Document architectural decisions, design concepts, and implementation approaches.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
