Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team working on a large-scale Java application for a major loyalty program. The role involves analyzing business requirements and production issues to design robust solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders and product teams.

You will own features end-to-end, work with AWS, and contribute to automated tests and code reviews in a complex enterprise environment. Monthly business trips to Warsaw are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java backend development for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, OO design principles, and clean code practices.
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider.
• Good understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, and maintainability.
• Experience with automated testing (unit and integration tests).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Advanced Polish and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a large-scale Java application running in the cloud.
• Analyze business requirements and production issues to design robust, maintainable solutions.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements analysis through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and other engineers.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and support continuous delivery.
• Document architectural decisions and implementation approaches.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
