Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team working on a large-scale Java application for a major loyalty program. You will analyze business requirements and production issues to design robust solutions while collaborating with stakeholders and product teams.

This role involves business trips to Warsaw once a month and requires strong knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and cloud technologies, along with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional Java backend experience in large-scale enterprise apps.
• Proficient in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, OO design and clean code.
• Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider.
• Strong architectural, performance optimization, and maintainability skills.
• Experience with automated testing (unit and integration) and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Advanced level of Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a large-scale Java app in the cloud.
• Analyze requirements and production issues to design robust solutions.
• Own features end-to-end from analysis through deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality and enable CD.
