Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team building a large-scale Java application for a leading loyalty program. You will analyze business requirements and production issues to design robust, maintainable solutions while collaborating with stakeholders and product teams.

The role involves business trips to Warsaw once a month and offers opportunities to own features end-to-end, create automated tests, and contribute to architecture and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Java backend development for large-scale enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot and clean code.
• Experience with AWS or major cloud provider.
• Understanding of architecture, performance, maintainability.
• Experience with unit and integration tests; CI/CD familiarity.
• Excellent communication with tech and business stakeholders.
• Fluent Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a large-scale Java application in the cloud.
• Analyze requirements and production issues to design robust solutions.
• Own features end-to-end from analysis to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Create automated tests to ensure quality and enable continuous delivery.
• Document architectural decisions and implementation approaches.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
