Job summary

thyssenkrupp IT Competence Center in Poland is looking for an experienced Java developer to help build backend solutions and maintain our in-house MES that connects SAP systems with local manufacturing controls across multiple sites.

You will deliver new features in Scrum and Kanban teams, ensure code quality through reviews and tests, and work with a modern tech stack including Angular, Kotlin, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and SonarQube. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in developing Java-based applications
• Strong skills in Java 11+ and Java EE / JPA
• Hands-on experience with application servers (WebLogic, migration to OpenLiberty)
• Solid experience with Oracle DB
• Familiarity with Eclipse RCP, Angular, Kotlin, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube

Responsibilities

• Build backend solutions using Java 11+ and Java EE, XML integrations, and Oracle DB.
• Develop and maintain in-house MES connecting SAP with local manufacturing controls.
• Deliver new features and improvements within Scrum and Kanban teams.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, automated testing, and documentation.
• Work with modern tech stack (Angular, Kotlin, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube).
