Job summary

LTM in Krakow is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join our hybrid engineering team on a 6-month contract with potential extension. You will contribute to developing and maintaining secure, scalable Java software following approved standards, in a global Digital Servicing context.

You will work 2–3 days per week in Krakow, collaborating with colleagues in the UK, Hong Kong and China to address technical debt, improve cyber security, and drive automation with new tooling and technologies.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Java 11 onwards, Maven, Spring framework, boot, cloud, security, integration, batch, WebFlux, data, reactive microservices, JDBC, Unit Tests, Javascript, RESTful API, SQL, Hibernate
• Extensive knowledge on APIs and webmicro services REST, SOAP
• Experienced with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experienced with Relational and NonRelational Databases (Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB)
• Experienced with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git)
• Comfortable working in an agile global environment with colleagues from across the globe
• Good command for the English language

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, secure and reliable code with approved design and coding standards
• Focus on resolving technical debt and improving cyber security by reducing software vulnerabilities and increasing operational resilience
• Innovate and drive introduction of new technologies and tooling to automate and optimize engineering deliverables
• Collaborate with a global Digital Servicing engineering team across the UK, Hong Kong and China
