Job summary

thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk Sp. z o.o. is seeking a seasoned web applications developer to maintain and enhance our in-house MES, across nine instances, integrating SAP with local process control systems.

You will work in Scrum and Kanban teams, participate in stand-ups, ensure quality through testing and reviews, and contribute to backend on Java EE-based framework; remote-friendly with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience developing web-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, and REST.
• Familiarity with Oracle DB, JavaEE (WebLogic/Open Liberty), EclipseLink, JMS, Eclipse RCP, Android (Kotlin), Maven, Tycho, Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git), SonarQube, JUnit, AsciiDoc.
• Comfortable working in Visual Studio Code.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop our in-house MES, operating across 9 instances and connecting SAP with local process control systems.
• Implement larger features in Scrum teams and smaller enhancements in Kanban teams.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and review ceremonies.
• Ensure quality through code reviews, automated testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to backend development on a Java EE-based framework.
