Job summary

thyssenkrupp GSG is seeking a skilled web developer to join our IT team. You will maintain and develop our inhouse MES system, operating across nine instances and linking SAP with local process control systems.

You will implement larger features in Scrum and smaller enhancements in Kanban, participate in daily standups and refinement sessions, and ensure quality through code reviews and automated tests. Proficiency in Java EE based frameworks and VS Code is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications.
• Proficient with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3 and REST.
• Familiar with Oracle DB, JavaEE, EclipseLink, JMS, Jenkins, Bitbucket/Git, SonarQube, JUnit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop our in-house MES across nine instances, connecting SAP with local process control systems.
• Implement larger features in Scrum teams and smaller enhancements in Kanban teams.
• Participate in daily standups and regular refinement/review ceremonies.
• Ensure quality through code reviews, automated testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to backend development on a Java EE-based framework.
