Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team on a 12-month B2B/Freelance contract, with a strong possibility of extension. Remote work is available for candidates based in Poland.

You will design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and microservices, work with Java, Spring, Camel and integration patterns, and mentor fellow engineers across international teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Java Backend experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Camel/Spring Integration.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale backend services and microservices-based architectures.
