Job summary
thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk Sp. z o.o. is seeking a senior Java developer to build backend solutions using Java 11+ and Java EE, and to maintain our MES bridging SAP with local plant controls across multiple sites.
You will deliver new features within Scrum and Kanban, ensure code quality through reviews and automated tests, and work with a modern tech stack including Angular, Kotlin, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and SonarQube.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing Java-based applications with Java 11+ and Java EE/JPA.
- Hands-on experience with application servers (WebLogic to OpenLiberty), EclipseLink, JMS, REST.
- Proficiency with Oracle DB and tools like Eclipse RCP, Angular, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build backend solutions using Java 11+, Java EE, XML integrations, and Oracle DB.
- Develop and maintain MES bridging SAP with local plant controls across sites.
- Deliver features within Scrum and Kanban, supporting both large and small projects.
- Ensure code quality via reviews, automated tests, and documentation.
- Work with a modern tech stack including Angular, Kotlin, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and SonarQube.
