Job summary

thyssenkrupp GSG in Poland seeks an experienced software engineer to maintain and develop our inhouse MES, operating across 9 instances and connecting SAP with local process control systems. You’ll implement larger features in Scrum teams and smaller enhancements in Kanban, participate in daily standups, ensure quality through code reviews, automated testing and documentation, and contribute to backend development on a Java EE–based framework.

Fluent English is required; German is an asset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3 and REST.
• Familiar with or willing to work with Oracle DB, JavaEE (WebLogic or OpenLiberty), EclipseLink, JMS, Eclipse RCP, Android (Kotlin), Maven, Tycho, Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git), SonarQube, JUnit, AsciiDoc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop our in-house MES across multiple instances, connecting SAP with local process control systems.
• Implement larger features in Scrum teams and smaller enhancements in Kanban teams.
• Participate in daily standups and refinement/review ceremonies.
• Ensure quality through code reviews, automated testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to backend development on a Java EE–based framework.
