Job summary

Billennium in Poland seeks an experienced 2nd Line Application Support Engineer to maintain business-critical apps across an international environment. You will troubleshoot incidents, collaborate with business users, and drive ongoing performance improvements.

You will mentor junior specialists, participate in release and change management, and contribute to knowledge sharing while delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering/CS or related field.
• At least 5 years in application support incl. incident, problem, and change management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Customer-focused mindset and service-oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business processes.
• Understanding of software development and delivery processes.
• General knowledge of business processes and enterprise applications.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line application support troubleshooting incidents, problems, and changes.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, problems, and change requests.
• Coordinate support activities and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams.
• Supervise and support Junior Specialists in daily work.
• Participate in operational support and project activities.
• Support release and change management processes.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.
