Job summary

Billennium, a global technology company, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer to join a pharma sector project in Warsaw. You will serve as a key technical authority responsible for reliability, scalability, and automation of a multi-cloud provisioning platform, helping engineering teams build and operate highly available production environments.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure design, operations, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience managing and scaling production Kubernetes environments.
Ability to work independently, make architectural decisions, and deliver production-ready infrastructure with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Drive the reliability, scalability, and performance of a multi-cloud platform across production environments.
Design and implement automation solutions that eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
Define, monitor, and continuously improve SLI/SLO metrics, providing data-driven recommendations for platform enhancements.
Lead incident management activities, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term reliability improvements.
Collaborate closely with product, security, and engineering teams to embed reliability and operational excellence across the software development lifecycle.
