Job summary

Oviva is seeking an experienced People/HR Operations professional to lead end-to-end employee lifecycle processes across markets, ensuring payroll accuracy and benefits administration. You will own compliance, audits, and complex cases, while mentoring others and improving People processes.

You will collaborate with Finance and external payroll providers, support multi-market transitions, and drive self-service improvements in the People Portal. Fluent English is essential in this global team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing HR operations or generalist HR roles with own area of responsibility.
• Solid knowledge of employment law and payroll compliance in markets (Poland, Germany, Switzerland).
• Hands-on payroll preparation experience and collaboration with Finance and payroll providers.
• Ability to make independent decisions, take initiative, and ask focused questions.
• Identify process issues and propose structured improvements.
• Fluent English communication across a multi-market team.

Responsibilities

• Own employee lifecycle processes end-to-end: onboarding, contracts, changes, offboarding, references.
• Ensure accurate monthly payroll across markets with Finance and providers; manage benefits/pensions.
• Own family leave administration: statutory calculations and payroll notifications.
• Drive audit readiness and monthly compliance routines; support audits with local advisers.
• Act as senior point of contact for employees and managers on People policies.
• Develop and document global People processes and policies; respond to changing needs.
• Maintain and optimize the People Portal and ticket systems; support automation and AI improvements.
• Mentor and guide other People Architecture Specialists on complex cases.
