Job summary

Headcount Solutions Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw invites applications for a Senior GL Accountant to support the creation of a new Shared Service Center.

The position covers ongoing accounting for a production entity, daily journal postings and GL/FA reconciliations, and supervision of AR, AP, and Treasury teams. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of production-entity accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and integrity. English is strong and German language would be an asset.

Qualifications

• Required strong accounting/finance understanding
• At least 2 years of production-entity accounting experience
• Experience with audits and tax compliance preferred

Responsibilities

• On-going accounting for a production entity
• Day-to-day journal postings and GL/FA reconciliations
• Supervision and management of AR, AP, and Treasury teams
• Cooperation with internal and external auditors
• Coordinate VAT and CIT compliance per German law
• Shadowing and migration of duties into newly created SSC
• Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies

Senior GL Accountant

Work shadowing and duties/process migration into newly created SSC

On-going accounting service of production entity

Day-to-day journal postings and accounts reconciliations in area of GL/FA

Supervision and managing of accounting teams(AR, AP, Treasury)

Ensuring internal accounting policy is followed

Cooperation with internal/external auditors

Coordinating VAT and CIT compliance according to German law

Very good understanding of finance and accounting, ideally in production environment

At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting of production entity

Analytical skills and business acumen

High level of integrity, ethics

Very good command of English(B2/C1)

Very good command of German would be an asset(B2)
