Finance Analyst - technical accounting department EUSSC

Your tasks:

Provide technical accounting consultation and support to internal constituents regarding IFRS and practical implementation thereof, including special projects.
Provide high quality customer service and support to Divisions and Domains in response to their questions regarding IFRS accounting.
Prepare slides and present at internal seminars which update accounting and finance individuals on recent accounting issues.
Assist in the implementation of the Company’s global Finance and Accounting Policy and Procedures.
Develop, maintain, and monitor Company’s finance and accounting policies and procedures to ensure that disclosure controls and procedures are properly designed and functioning.
Support in projects such as purchase accounting in acquisitions, merger/acquisition/divestiture accounting, debt financing, accounting update presentations, tax restructurings, due diligence efforts, etc.
Support purchase accounting in acquisitions implementation with Divisions.
Supports impairment analysis and coordinate with outside consultants, Divisions and Corporate Controlling and regarding assumptions, forecasts, etc.
Assist with coordination and implementation of tax restructuring plans as it relates to the impact on financial reporting.


Your profile:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance (or related)
Should have at least 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
Very good command of spoken and written English; German considered a plus
Technical accounting background in IFRS accounting standards, Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP-related experience in accounting processes preferred
Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
Highly organized with an ability to adapt to change and work independently as well as collaborate in global matrix organization
