Job summary

Voodoo is seeking a Senior Game Designer for Mob Control in Kraków to own the design and execution of new features and game improvements. You will partner with a Product Director to shape strategy and roadmap for the unit, driving Mob Control toward top midcore status.

You will design core loops, economy models, tuning, and meta features while collaborating with product, engineering, and art teams to deliver engaging, live-release updates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mobile midcore games (strategy, 4X, or similar).
• Proven track record in gameplay design, balancing, and meta feature design.
• Strong communication skills with clear design documentation.
• Ability to absorb and apply feedback with flexibility and no ego.
• Skilled at simplifying and communicating complex systems.
• Comfortable analyzing KPIs and player behavior to guide design decisions.
• Passion for mobile midcore games and deep market knowledge.
• AI-first mindset: using AI daily and building reusable automations.

Responsibilities

• Design features & systems to drive engagement, social dynamics, and monetization.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and artists from concept to live release.
• Leverage player insights to boost retention, engagement, and IAP monetization.
• Contribute to vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap with leadership.
