Job summary

Hard Rock Games is seeking a Senior Animator to bring characters, items and environments to life across our games, including the visual effects that make wins feel big. You’ll own animations from concept through in-engine delivery, collaborating with artists, designers and developers to realize creative direction.

You will build rigs, refine weightning, and adapt styles across diverse art directions, contributing ideas and mentoring others while meeting production timelines in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional animation experience in games or interactive media.
• A portfolio showing character, object, environment and VFX animation across multiple styles.
• Strong understanding of motion, timing, weight and core animation principles.
• Detail-oriented with a consistent polish standard.
• Ability to follow direction while contributing creative ideas.
• Creative problem-solving under tight deadlines.
• Excellent collaboration across art, design and engineering.
• Proven track record in fast-paced production with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D and 3D animations for characters, items and environments.
• Design and animate visual effects to support gameplay moments and transitions.
• Build and refine rigs and skin weighting for natural motion.
• Adapt animation approaches to various art styles from stylized to realistic.
• Prepare, integrate and test animations in-engine with developers.
