Job summary

Uniper Energy in Poland seeks a Senior Manager for Energy Offtake to set up and manage operational processes for renewable energy offtake, including contract management and regulatory coordination. You will lead negotiations, align with legal and risk teams, and drive improvements across back-office functions.

The role requires deep knowledge of PPAs, CfDs and subsidy schemes, with strong stakeholder management and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Experience in process management and contract administration in energy/regulated environments.
• Experience with renewable energy, PPAs, CfDs, subsidy schemes, and route-to-market structures.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to coordinate input from diverse functions.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Polish; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operational management of Polish energy offtake activities, including trackers, documentation, deadlines, approvals, reporting and action follow-up.
• Coordinate processes related to Polish subsidy schemes (CfD) and translate regulatory obligations into workflows.
• Support negotiation and administration of commercial agreements (PPAs, route-to-market, GO contracts, tolling and related topics).
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Tax, Accounting, Compliance, Trading, Origination, Project Development and Asset Management to ensure obligations are understood and implemented.
• Maintain an overview of contract obligations, milestones, notice periods, reporting duties and settlement requirements.
• Identify gaps and bottlenecks in processes and implement improvements for reliability and transparency.
• Prepare decision material and recommendations for senior stakeholders with clear escalation paths.
• Assist in commercial negotiations by preparing facts, positions, risk assessments and fallback options.
• Act as a reliable interface between commercial teams and back-office functions to ensure signed contracts are executed effectively.
