Job summary

ID Energy Group is seeking an experienced M&A leader for Poland to drive buy-side/sell-side transactions in the renewables sector, including project sales and development phases. You will partner with permitting, finance, and legal teams to close deals while expanding the company’s Polish portfolio and market presence.

The role requires deep market knowledge of Polish/CEE renewables, strong financial modelling, and fluency in Polish and English.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in renewable energy M&A.
Proven track record in buy-side and/or sell-side transactions.
Deep knowledge of Polish/CEE renewable energy market and regulations.
Strong financial modelling and deal negotiation skills.
University degree in Finance, Economics or Business; MBA is a plus.
Fluent Polish; English at least C1.
Ability to collaborate across multicultural teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead group M&A activity in Poland on sale and buy-side.
Lead structured sale processes for renewables projects in development phases.
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and negotiate agreements.
Support permitting to reach Ready-to-Build status within timelines.
Maintain knowledge of project-finance structures and PES/CA modelling.
Collaborate with Legal and Group M&A leadership.
Stay updated on sector trends, policy, and regulation changes.
Coordinate with internal teams during transactions (Legal, BD, Finance).
Support ad hoc initiatives to deliver growth and continuity across Poland portfolio.
Maintain close contact with Finance, Project Development, Legal and HQ.
