Location: Kraków - hybrid (3 days office per week)
Tasks:
- Design multilayer PCBs for Automotive applications using Mentor Xpedition.
- Create schematics, PCB layouts, and complete engineering documentation in the Teamcenter environment.
- Develop electronic solutions for ECUs, 48V systems, DC/DC converters, inverters, On-Board Chargers (OBC), and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Define PCB stack-ups, component placement strategies, routing rules, and design guidelines for both low- and high-voltage applications (12V, 48V, 400V, 800V).
- Collaborate closely with Hardware, Mechanical Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure design compliance with electrical, mechanical, and production requirements.
- Optimize designs for Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and EMC/EMI performance.
- Support prototype bring-up, design reviews, validation activities, and production release processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB design for electronic systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Mentor Xpedition (schematic capture and PCB layout).
- Proven experience in Automotive electronics development, preferably for ECUs, power electronics, or BMS systems.
- Good understanding of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) concepts.
- Experience designing PCBs according to EMI/EMC requirements.
- Knowledge of high-voltage PCB design principles and best practices.
- Experience preparing engineering documentation and working in a Teamcenter environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Very good command of English.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Power Electronics design.
- Knowledge of HyperLynx simulation tools.
- Experience designing PCBs for 400V/800V systems.
- Understanding of creepage & clearance, insulation, and high-voltage design requirements.
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA processes and collaboration with manufacturing teams.
- Experience with PCB simulation tools and other ECAD/CAD environments.
