Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services in Warsaw seeks an experienced DevOps/Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain data-driven systems that support BI, investment and asset management. You will ensure reliable data flow from multiple sources and contribute to enterprise-grade solutions in a cloud environment.

You'll work across teams to implement Python, PySpark, SQL pipelines, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and DevOps/CI/CD, while upholding security, governance and cost

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software/data/platform engineering, preferably in cloud environments.
• Experience delivering production-grade solutions in enterprise settings.
• Strong understanding of software/data engineering and modern cloud practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable in international environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing production-quality software and services.
• Building and integrating APIs and services (Streamlit, React, PowerBI) that expose data and analytics.
• Using Python, PySpark and SQL for scalable processing.
• Developing solutions on Azure Cloud and Databricks.
• Integrating AI/ML and GenAI where appropriate.
• Taking ownership of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Applying Docker and Kubernetes/AKS for containerization and orchestration.
• Ensuring data quality, security, governance and compliance.
• Monitoring production workloads and improving stability.
• Collaborating with business owners, analysts, data scientists, architects, engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Contributing to architectural decisions and engineering standards.
