Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to shape and optimize our cloud-based data platform across AWS and GCP. You will work at the intersection of engineering, data, and infrastructure, partnering with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analysts to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.

You will design and implement data infrastructure, automate deployments, ensure observability, and drive cost-efficient data estate management while maintaining high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Platform Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Data Platform infrastructure across AWS and GCP, including data lakes, data warehouses, orchestration, and observability components
• Enhance the platform by introducing new features and services, improving monitoring and observability, and automating common operational tasks
• Develop and maintain CI/CD-driven deployment processes to improve platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts to support and evolve the MLOps Platform
• Manage and optimize the data estate, including IAM and access policies, storage management, platform monitoring, and cost control
• Design and implement secure, compliant, and user-friendly data infrastructure solutions
• Continuously improve platform performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency across cloud environments
• Work with stakeholders across and beyond the data organization to understand requirements and deliver platform capabilities that meet their needs
• Contribute to and uphold strong engineering practices, including code reviews, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and established data governance standards
